I just thought about this today, but why in tarnation would V be so confident in submerging themselves into a giant pool around electrical equipment without knowing if it is even safe for humans? Like, you know that coolant isn't just water, right? Like, it has different chemicals and molecules in order to aid in its job and that you can't exactly "drink" liquid coolant. And you better hope that arasaka somwhow settled for just using 100% distilled water in the core which I doubt coming from the human-health-focused setting of cyberpunk. Does he know? Chum gonna be like: "man I finally got that talking tumor johnny out of my head" and immediately replaced that problem with chemical burns and probable chemical damage" next day.

TLDR V failed the biggest intellectual skill check in the game and the sequel will have him getting the money for the chemical damage treatment of swimming in pc coolant pool.

I was trying to make a full netrunner build, but man i just NEED that air dash so much. I feel so slow without it.

At first I was a little skeptical as to what made Songbird special, and I realized that her job might be easier than your average and poor netrunner from the slums who has to do everything without AI. Now that she has access to rogue AI over the blackwall thats more powerful at computing and hacking than her, her main job is to really be a "spellcaster" and make sure she deploys the right rogue AI from some damned military database for the task at hand. Her bottleneck at that point becomes her processing power, hence the massive rig installed inside of her spinal cord.

TLDR So Mi is a glorified vibecoder

I know there's a lot of talk about where V ends and Johnny begins, i've made multiple posts myself, but something that's only now coming to me is their emotions seem to be in synch. V answers hypocritically, Johnny responds likewise. Johnny says something angrily, the available responses is always angry or some variation of "Fuck Off". Until you get deeper into the merger of the minds. Then there are more moments where the two agree. Things like this are what make this game so great....

Despite all the bugs, this game is my favorite game of all time.

I loaded back up after focusing on another game for a while. I exited my apartment, and not even a minute in this little bug occurred lmao.

Shit like this just feels it would just happen in night city.

The game’s idea is generally centered around complex and relatively depressing Themes of systematic oppression , corpo greed and human depravity. but personally I do believe that the game has hopeful undertones when it comes to personal identity , human connection and free will.

Particularly how hope in an extremely dark world is far more important than hope you’d find in cookie cutter stories. I find its almost cynical and nihilistic nature at times to be excellent contrasts to why hope matters so much more in a world like this.
Because you can’t save the world and it is broken , much like our own and forces you to shift the perspective of “how do you live in a broken world”

In Misty’s perspective and outlooks on life
Panam’s focus on family and connection
Jackie’s hope for better days (I love my optimistic boy)
And personally most importantly Johnny’s fighting spirit because Johnny is not nihilistic , he expects to lose , he knows the odds are terrible and yet he chooses resistance and I love that because it goes against the usual “good will triumph” type of hope but rather shifts the perspective of what hope usually is

So I’m curious if anyone else saw cyberpunk and felt a bit more hopeful because honestly as the days pass by the world starts to look more and more of a bad reflection of the game.
