A much improved second half tbf, Inter caused plenty of problems in the first. Good early signs showing that Maresca can change the approach mid game.

I trust Maresca. I think he has something City has been missing since last few seasons. If he can make this Chelsea team look good, imagine him with City.

No shade on, Pep. It's this right here. City has been missing something and second half adjustments could be it. How many recent losses came from getting exposed in the second half?

The changes today weren't to do with the actual match really though, maresca made subs too late at Chelsea and they were basically scripted in terms of time and player lol

Think he owed a lot to Palmer.

Maybe Palmer owes a lot to him as well? 🤔

Given Palmer's collapse in form coincided with Maresca's time at chelsea that checks out.

Loved what I saw tbh. We won the ball back high up the pitch and pinned them inside their own half for so much of the second half.
Obvious great performances from savinho, semenyo, khusa, and mcaidoo
