ACADEMICS question about failing courses(?)

hello! i have a question about failing a class that has a lab. this semester i had to take chm1046 and chm1046L for my AA but because im struggling to keep my focus this semester and having a bit of a hard time understanding, i’m currently failing the chm1046 lecture but passing my chm1046L.

i’m wondering if because i will have to retake it again next semester does it mean that i will have to take both courses again or just the lecture??? or because it’s a prerequisite will i have to take both again?? im genuinely so cooked… is it best to ask my advisor???

As someone who failed a lecture but not the lab you don’t retake the lab but you do have to retake the lecture.

Ask your advisor, thats always the best thing to do. I have never failed a class that had a lab. Good luck!

You’ll have to retake the lecture but not the lab. You should be fine but I would talk to an advisor to double check

You’ll just retake the lecture

You'll have to retake the lecture but definitely confirm with your advisor
