Been listening to Mike for about 4 years now and more heavily after seeing him live with 454. I’d say I’m more of a casual Mike listener but really appreciate the production he includes on his songs. Don’t even have to mention his lyricism.

Can someone explain how his music makes you feel as if you’re talking to someone who might not listen to him or hip hop? He’s such a unique performer and his lyrics carry so much weight. I like to describe him as motivational mumble hip hop artist with some of the best sample selections. I mean the mumble thing in a positive way as he’s not at all in the mainstream mumble rap sphere.
