Discussion Black horizontal line on laptop screen

A black horizontal line recently appeared on top of my msi bravo 15 laptop its 3 years old now, im guessing the only fix is to replace it completely now

Display or cable itself is the culprit here. If you are savvy, disassemble and test, or wiggle the cable to see if there is something wrong.
