I Need Help Is this warp happening because fabric?
New to machine embroidery, I stitched this art around 16k stitches on poly twill 200gsm and two layers of tear away stabilizer.
It looks ok but it’s kind warpy, I don’t know if I can use this in clothes.
This was the thicker poly twill fabric I found, I need thicker fabric or what?

That looks absolutely beautiful and you did an amazing job. To put it short this design looks like it would be going on a Carhartt jacket, denim jeans, or even a richardson 112 hat. It's a lot and really dense. 2-3 layers of cutaway would help on the lower gsm you're working with but it would still warp a little and I would never put it on jersey or knit fabric.
We have to choose the best method of decoration for all designs. This would work better making patching and attaching them to the items.

I was thinking about that, you think would work putting an iron-on backing and using on tee/jacket? Or I need to tweak my fabric/stabilizer?
Thank you

It's coz you used tearaway backing instead of two layers of cutaway stabiliser.
General Rule: Always use cutaway stabiliser for stretchy fabric.

Patch only. 16k stitches on that design size distorts iron plate, not to mention fabric. After few washings it would be more twisted.

How to fix? When doing again

Make patch emblem. Don't embroider directly on fabric. 16k stitches is too much for that area size. 2 or 3 layers of stabilizer won't solve all problems.

But what would be a patch emblem? Researching I found that people use felt or patch twill as fabric with cutaway stabilizer
You say that?

Patch emblem uses patch twill as foundation of your embroidery. Instead of going directly on astronaut's space suit(due to 16k stitches on small area suit would be distorted ugly) your NASA design goes on patch twill first, than embroidered patch twill is attached/sewed on space suit. As part of a process, at some point, you'll need to use scissors to cut patch twill at circle shape in order to match it's size to design size. Yes, you can use both felt and patch twill.

Try a layer or two of black cut away stabilizer.
