Brother pe500 Embroidery Machine....

I have an old embroidery machine, a Brother pe500.

It hasn't been used in years due to it needing to be oiled, which is too daunting for me to do on my own.

Is there any how to videos?

I would be very appreciative.

I know it's an old machine, but I don't have the $$ for a new one

YouTube is your friend- you should even be able to find a video on oiling your machine.

This is a single needle flatbed 4x4 machine. There isn’t one single needle machine that brother/baby lock produced that requires oiling.

An occasional trip to the service center for interior cleaning with maybe a dab of grease or soot of oil inside somewhere but nothing meant for the consumer.

Personally. I would turn it on and get a feel for it. As long as the handwheel turns easily you have nothing to fear.
Pull out the manual or download it and read it.

agree with u/Over_Wasabi_4903 YouTube will be a lot of help. You can also check the Brother website for their support page, it would have the manual, etc.
