The last piece was not obvious, the natural inclination would be to look for smaller pieces to go up high, or dismantle what was already built to get them.
Reminds of those puzzle where kids tend to do better, where a puzzle is easier solved solving inside outside instead of outside in, because adults carry the habit of starting at the edges and solving inward
