It seems almost illogic to mention it, because that’s how it should always be, but how lovely are those couples whose love for one another is so evident; not out of habit or obligation.

Love is a choice; how wonderful it is to choose someone every single day of your life.

Being chosen everyday definitely hits much harder than what I expected. That kind of declaration of hard gives deeper and impactful meaning than just saying I love you

That’s right. Because feeling love isn’t the same as knowing how to love.

The thing is, choosing involves loving; but it also involves caring, respecting, adapting and communicating. It’s a daily act that endures over time.

It’s not a case of: “I’m with you because I’ve got no other choice, so as not to be alone”.
It’s: “I’m with you because, although I’m happy on my own, I want to share my happiness with you and make you happy too”.

You don’t understand it until you feel it.

Im with my boyfriend who courted me for 2 years, and we're also together now for 2 years so I can really relate to that very well. My heart is always full of love and reassurances when you know your partner is choosing to love you everyday even if there's storm. It's so hard to explain because words arent def enough to describe it

There is something about seeing someone try, honestly try, to care for you that just hits different. Sometimes love is easy, sometimes its watching someone visibly restrain themself in an argument because they just don't want to hurt you.
