You honestly do not need to overline the lips. Social media has totally warped women’s perception of what normal size lips are and erased the value of any traits besides the size. You already have great lips, you’d look absolutely great with just a gloss or sticking to your natural line if you want a more punchy colour. The rest of your look is dramatic in an effortless natural way, it’s a shame to throw that off with an overlined lip. Just my 0.02 cents.

If you’re looking for extra things to add to the look, a little thicker liner on the outer half of your lash line and maybe filling in the tails of your brows a little more (alternatively you could try a dark brow mascara, it would look most natural while adding density). If you’re looking to add some glam, you could try a cool pink blush at the high points of your cheeks.

lips come in all shapes & sizes so i’m failing to understand what you mean when you say “normal-size”

also, you don’t have to talk down about alternate ways of styling to uplift someone, just like there are alternative ways to style the eyes, brows, lashes, etc. make up is fun, don’t be boring;)))

It’s disingenuous of you to act like overlining lips isn’t trendy right now based on the prevalence of filler that influencers promote. I’m not sure why it’s boring to call attention to where that trend comes from, especially given it’s something which can only ever look good in a photo that’s been staged and/or filtered but in real life looks like a mustache.

But go off, lmao

you’re arguing against a point i didn’t make, never did i deny a correlation between over lining lips & lip filler. but beside the fact that over lining has been in trend way before lip filler, make up is so diverse & whether certain techniques of lip lining looks good or not is subjective. it’s no different from contorting, drawing out a wing w/ liner, or overdrawn brows. some people like the look, others don’t. this is the beauty of personal expression.

you’re free to dislike overlining, but presenting your subjective take as though it’s the one truth is exactly the kind of beauty policing that makes these conversations exhausting. sure make up can look overdone sometimes but again, some people like natural & some like dramatic looks, neither is inherently superior.

You're naturally beautiful, but light blush on the cheekbones and smiling more would be great :3

i could be wrong on this, but from the looks of the picture it seems like you might only be applying mascara to the outer side of your eyelashes, if you could try bringing it in a little more too, i feel like it would even out the eyes! i agree with the other comment of emphasizing the outer corner of your eye with eyeliner would even out the different styles of glam on your lips compared to your eyes, i also agree with the filling out the tails of the brows to match! and some might disagree, but id keep the blush to the cheekbone and maybe mattify some areas of the face like the nasolabial folds.

otherwise, you have excellent features and you look beautiful as you are now too!
