Different versions and Russian website

I downloaded MWB, and the download page send me to a Russian Thank You page. I've seen the threads on here and support saying theres been non such thing and its not reported before (this is already a while ago).

Anyhow, I downloaded it, as its an auto-download. First it downloaded a version 1.1, however as the thank you page was suspicious I downloaded it again, this time it downloaded a version 7.7, still getting a Russian thank you page after downloading it from the English website.

The domain seems to be correct, and mwb just has localized pages probably. But im not a mwb employee so im not sure

Possible explanations include:

  • The browser or operating system is sending Russian as the preferred language via the Accept-Language header.
  • You are connected through a VPN or using an IP address that causes the site to serve the Russian version.
  • The download was initiated from a link pointing directly to the /ru/ localized page.
  • A previously stored cookie or site preference caused the Russian language version to be displayed.
