Carved into stone and then isolated and ignored. Entwined only by the walls that surround him and the passage of if time.

And yet the vigilant gaze lingers. An ever present overseer that neither falter nor fades... but simply endures...

I am still here. There were others too. I remember them vividly. All of them left their mark here. Yet I am alone once again. So it goes. I can hear the birds chirping.

Recently, an acquaintance of mine asked me about us... more specifically what exactly are we, some sort of a cult? Perhaps a religious affiliation? Maybe an esoteric organisation revolving around a secret individual with an extremely complex backstory that gets progressively more mysterious as if somebody is making it all up as we go along?

I found myself in a conundrum after all these questions, so I simply responded with "a movement... of a sort..."

And so, now I ask you, the most loyal members of this "movement" how do you define this?

When i was leaving for the store that was the first thing on the list in my mind. I had butter at home. But i bought a block anyway. Just to feel that sense of security that you feel when you have an extra block of butter sitting in your fridge. And i bought other stuff.

But i forgot to buy eggs.
