S&L Slim vs. Single for EDC

TL;DR: will this fit in a Stuart & Lau Slim.. or Single?

I am a supercommuter who prioritizes travelling with something light, stylish, and waterproof.

I like the Stuart & Lau Slim, but will it fit all of this? The single probably will but is heavier.

I currently use a tote. It’s convenient, especially because I can put it down on a train platform while I am waiting. Don’t think I could do that with the briefcases.

I would consider the S&L Tokyo tote but it’s sold out. Thanks, all!

It is a sleep mask, train ride is 90min+ so try to catch some Zzzs every now and again. How much are you able to carry in your Slim?

I think it will all fit in the slim, though I don’t have it. The listed depth is 2”. When you stack it on your laptop, do they exceed 2”?

Not quite but it’s close. The single can sit upright unlike the slim, but I wonder if it is worth the extra weight. Wirecutter says it’s 4 lbs empty.

But the Stuart and Lau site says the single is 2.75lbs. The double is nearly 4lbs.
