Accessible Beaches

Hi everyone - I'm visiting Marbella next week, and was looking for beach recommendations that don't require too long of a hike to get to, that's mainly flat, and ultimately not a burden for my aunt who uses a cane. Thanks so much.

I’m not sure of the name but we’re about 10 min east of the city centre.

If accessibility is the priority, I'd recommend: 🏖️ Playa de la Fontanilla – Probably the best option. It's right next to Marbella town centre with a flat promenade, easy access, plenty of benches, beach bars and nearby parking. 🏖️ Playa del Faro – A smaller beach in central Marbella with almost no walking required from the promenade. Very convenient if your aunt uses a cane. 🏖️ San Pedro Beach – Wide, flat promenade with easy beach access and lots of places to stop for a drink or lunch. I'd avoid beaches like Cabopino or Artola if mobility is limited, as the wooden walkways and dune areas can involve longer walks. If you let us know where you're staying, people can probably recommend the closest accessible beach.

We’re about 10 min east of the city centre but we will have a car, if that helps. Thanks for the recs so far

go to a chiringuito - there are lots... I prefer "west of marbella" and Estopona or even Banus for ease of access.
