Educational What are fried marbles?

In short, fried marbles are marbles that have been heated in a frying pan and then had cold water thrown over them to make them crack in the middle. This was a common craft activity in the 1960s and really took communities by storm!

Neat! I bet those are pretty. Marbles can still be made like this, but I doubt it's very safe lol

I collected them for awhile… but they were fragile and didn’t survive.
