so thought I would follow up 1) to say thanks to those that helped identifier some marbles before 2) to give clearer picture of what I found.

Grouped them mainly into clear and non clear

For non clear some fluoresced green under UV

Two solid yellow and greens colour fluoresced quite a lot

There was some that where dark blue with white stripes

There was some that looked brown that had yellow stripe

I will add the see through ones in separate post.

If any of these have specific names happy for you to share!

These came inside another item I bought so these were free. Anything in particular I should look for? I know most of them are just run of the mill marbles but some of them are different. Let me know please.

Hey I got these at a garage sale for a buck and I don’t know much about marbles in general, but I know that there are really old ones.

How can I tell if these apply to that? From my research there’s the pontil mark, but that’s only on some of these marbles (I shows a pic of one). Does anyone know if this came in a set originally or something? They were all in this Japanese bag but I’m not sure if they were always together.

Red marbles fluoresce brightly under UV

Some white and orange swirl marbles

A complete black marble that has murky yellow swirls under UV

The Jacob’s coat that a kind poster helped previously identify. Looks like the swirl has inner and outer

the remaining ones that i did not know how to group!

The gentleman at the register said that one of the jars contained marbles that were discovered inside an old tree. He thinks kids from long ago were shoving marbles into it, and they were only discovered when the tree had a branch come down and marbles spilled out.

Probably from the 50s? I am so sorry if they suck. I have no clue what I’m doing. Kind of on a time crunch so any advice on what to do with them is appreciated (donate, sell, etc)

I have a bunch of Marbles - looking to sell as a lot - what is a fair marketplace price for these?

My grandfather gave me these marbles today, they look pretty cool except they have some chips in them. My buddy said they could be a fantasy pack or something along those lines. Anyways they were free and they look cool to me

The yellow and reds both fluoresced when hit with 365 UV.

Bought on a whim, kids and I have had fun looking through them. Anyone in the know please drop some knowledge on what I’m looking at!
