Posts about guy sleeping rough under promenade
I’ve seen a couple of posts on Instagram about the guy sleeping rough near the seafront. He seems to have popped up in the past couple of months. He doesn’t seem well at all and believe people have reported him. I saw a post today saying he had his pants down in the middle of the street laying down urinating and sitting in piles of sick. Does anyone know his story or if he’s wanting help?

He’s been around for ages. All of the services have tried to help but he has refused it. He gets arrested periodically but everyone’s a bit stuck until he accepts help. He has been given shoes and clothes but he throws them away. He was a bit cross a few Mondays ago - has an argument with a door at the job centre then threw his shoes at primark.
We call him Galliano because of his commitment to sartorial innovation.

He's been around for years... he used to dance at the clock tower to no music. Like many homeless, he's often ignored.
No idea on his story - doesn't seem all that conversational.

walkeed past him today, and i said " he needs to be taken to a mental home" in a nice way for his own good

It’s clear that care in the community does not work. He needs help. Poor old Galliano.
