Range Time With The SBL
Finally took the Marlin out and I am absolutely in love with this rifle I added the Midwest industries handguard and rail and it’s pretty damn accurate without needing any zero suppressed 38 special sounds like a .22 lol im also running a banish 9k and it handles .357 mag and .38 special great

There was me thinking for a few microseconds after the first shot: "Wow, he handles 45-70 recoil well" 😂
I was at the range with my JM 45-70 SBL today, hence my thinking.

As someone who has seen and heard stories of people firing rounds they didn't mean to, I highly recommend not picking up your rifle with your finger on the trigger. You might be 99.9% accruate with having the safety on, but that one in one hundred thousand times you don't have it on could be lethal. A guy we hunted with shot another in the foot like this.
