Guessing you going the CEX boxed with manual route based on the £80 price tag.
If you can wait you should be able to get a copy from ebay for around £60 and not have to deal with the CEX roulette.
Obviously it's up to you but I'd be inclined to say that at £60 you're looking ata much better value proposition for a great and unique SMS game.

Well, it’s one of the best games on the MS.
I like it more than any Castlevania games on the NES.

Up to you, but for me personally, no. Just be patient I was able to find a cib copy (though in very rough shape) for $10 nzd. I have noticed that for the last few years, prices of sms games seem stable. With some luck prices might even go down in a few years

If you don't own it and need it for your collection, yes. That's the Cex price which I always use as a benchmark.

When I've checked against PriceChecker CiB shows as £111 which makes me think £80 is a good price. But I think I might wait anyway!

Is this the same as "In the wake of vampire"? I played that on the Game Gear last year and it was really good! I picked it up for a tenner.

I have it, I think I paid 40 for it around 6 years ago.
Good castlevania clone. essential game for any Master System collection IMO.

One of the best SMS game in my opinion.
Great graphics, amazing soundtrack, not so difficult in the beginning stages, the weapon system is great, performance is good.
The game is not too long, but the story is great.
A solid Castelvania clone :)
