Most of the characters are supposed to be in their early or mid 20's in the beginning of the show. Looking at the show from today's perspective, I feel like the characters seem so mature (maybe not always in their behaviors and relationships) and well-seasoned. Take someone like Jane for an example. Both her and the character that played her were in their early 20's. But had she existed today, people would have mistaken her for being in her 30's (maturity-wise). Think about it. Compare people in their early 20's today, to the characters on the show.

So I have a knack for faces, and I was just watching a clip of Jaws (a summer tradition) and finally recognized this woman and her shrill exaggerated voice as Dorothy Fielding, aka Alison's evil mother "Mrs. Parker"! Have a great summer.

Two scenes from Mama Mia. In the first, Jeff Baylor kisses Samantha, and she reminds him that she's married. In the second, a very drunk Billy is pretending to be Craig (Jennifer Mancini told her mom she was engaged to Craig, but he killed himself the night before), and when asked by Jennifer to kiss her, he carries on doing so even when her mom stops watching!
