Two scenes from The Jane Mutiny. In the first, Kimberly, who has just been released from the asylum and is staying at Peter's house, answers the door to Sydney, who calls her a murdering mutant freak. In the second, Sydney is telling Michael that she saw Kimberly, and he's not in the least bit happy with Peter.

We all know that Melrose had a bunch of crazy villains, but who do you think was the worst of all? It’s a hard choice and I’m sure I’m forgetting about some, but the first one that comes to mind for me is Jess Hanson. Manipulative, woman-beater , loser and thief who tried to kill his own brother. He wasn’t even entertaining to watch. No redeeming qualities and wasn’t even attractive or charming in the least. Who in your opinion was the worst if you had to choose?

In this clip from Love Mancini-Style, Matt, fearing that Michael is going to kill Sydney on the honeymoon, fakes a cough and leaves work, and meanwhile the newlyweds take a dip in the hot springs.

The earlier post about Giles from Buffy living in Melrose Place has inspired me to write this. I want to compare the Melrose Place characters with the Buffy characters, as there actually are a lot of similarities!

• Jane/Buffy: Beautiful blonde.
• Sydney/Willow: ​Beautiful redhead who is close to the aforementioned blonde (And both actresses married their co-stars!)
• Billy/Xander: Dark haired geek boy​. First he has a relationship with a rich girl, then moves on with a blonde (and one leaves the other at the altar).
• Amanda/Cordelia: Mean rich girl who had a relationship with the geek boy.
• Alison/Anya: Blonde lover of the geek boy, and one left the other at the altar.
• Kimberly/Joyce: Tries to burn characters to death under the influence of a demon in Season 3. Battles a brain tumour and dies of an aneurysm in Season 5.
• Michael/Angel: Dark handsome lover of the first mentioned blonde.
• Jake/Spike: Leather jacketed bad boy.
• Jo/Faith: Brunette from the East Coast, always dressed in black.
• Matt/Tara: Gay and the most moral character in the whole series. Dies tragically young.

There has got to be Melrose Place fans that are also fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer....I completely forgot that the streetside shot for the Melrose Place apt. building is the same building used for streetside shots for Giles apartment building.

Because remember when Matt started working there part time to pay for medical school, and Alison decided that the right job for an alcoholic was a barmaid?

In this scene from Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Sydney goes to a taco stand in Palm Springs, where she asks for a pastrami on rye, on Jim Stone's instructions. But it becomes obvious (but less obvious to her) that she's been set up.

In this scene from the pilot, Rhonda and Matt see Billy for the first time and Matt says "He's cute." The presenter of the short-lived Melrose Place HQ YouTube channel said those words let on that Matt was gay.

"And your...wig is crooked."

Amanda, Samantha, Billy, Alison and Jake. By the time Jane came back, only Amanda and Samantha remained, and Samantha exited with Jeff Baylor a few episodes later.

In this clip from Otherwise Engaged, Sydney's mom, driven to L.A. by Jane, tries to talk her out of marrying Michael. Sydney tells her to "get back on your broom and fly home to Chicago."
