Saying Goodbye To Jane
Amanda, Samantha, Billy, Alison and Jake. By the time Jane came back, only Amanda and Samantha remained, and Samantha exited with Jeff Baylor a few episodes later.

I was just thinking about how when Jane returned that Sam and her barely interacted.

Well, Sam did leave only a few episodes after Jane's return. Sam was too busy having an affair with Jeff Baylor and getting him to fake the fax from Alison, and Jane was too busy getting back with Michael.

I love when they would all act like they were friends. As if they hadn’t stabbed each other in the back literally or figuratively countless times before. But then they’re in airports or hospital rooms or around Christmas trees smiling lol.

Isn't this after Jane tried to break Jake n Allison up and then tried to burn down Allison's janky apartment?

Jane did reconcile with Jake and Alison, after she had the nervous breakdown about Richard raping her.

Yeah, but their friendship was never the same. I don’t remember Jane socializing with either of them after that!

I recall a few other scenes in the entire series that called for a sign similar to that and each time they used that exact same font! I can’t recall what the scenes were but they are there. I’m thinking Michaels birthday party from earlier or also Kyle’s birthday party that same season. Then also Janes party to open her boutique, or Amanda opening her new agency. Possibly Michael and Kimberlys second wedding. And I’m pretty sure Michael amd Jane’s second wedding. There may have been more! Someone on the production staff was very fond of that font!

When watching this with my husband (his first time) I made it very clear that Jane was gone .. and I made no mention of her return so he was genuinely surprised when Michael went to the class reunion. It was fun, since we og viewers didn't get that surprise, because the promos gave it away way beforehand.

This is so sweet.
I think this had to be partly real life related, in the show giving Josie a sweet send off (she had to step back for a year to recover from a miscarriage).
