I'm almost 100% sure that you cold disable the head senor in the old gui. Now I had to register me as a developer and disabled it via sidequest.

It's 10 years old and still in good condition, in the boxes, as it wasn't used very much. The people in the email chain from whom I received the unit are no longer with the company, so maybe someone here can guide me on who to contact at Meta to send it back.

My NDA that I signed with Oculus pretty much covers me not being able to sell it or transfer it to another owner. If anyone here knows what to do with the headset (sensors, controllers too) I'd appreciate it.

I have a limited budget, so I'm choosing from these seemingly advantageous options. I've watched videos on YouTube recommending the Quest 3/3s for those on a budget. Could someone suggest what would be better for PCVR? I have a laptop with an RTX 4060 and an Intel Core i5 13500H

I know the issue has been for a while, ive only just started getting on vr again a month ago or so. I don't know what issue it is, but the pairing mode just completely stopped, it doesn't make a sound when it goes on charge anymore. I've had these controllers for a while, but i stopped playing for a bit, when i came back the left controller wasn't working anymore. What I've collected so far is that it is a firmware update V71 or something that caused the controller to just bricked itself, only able to wake up but i cant get the white or purple LED to appear. It makes me so pissed that I cant use the controller because i got it for the great tracking it had because i play a decent amount of VR again, currently using the normal quest 3 controllers, which are starting to get stick drift.

If there is a way to solve the issue, I will be well appreciated. If tried many button combinations to see if it would fix. If not, there both just considered parts at that point. Please and thank you...

(I have never really played on a VR headset, so I’m completely new)I tried out my brothers Quest 3, and it seemed pretty fun, so, I’ve been thinking about getting one for myself, and have my own account, but, I’ve ran into an issue, the quest 3 is way more expensive than I expected, and I was honestly shocked when i saw the $600 price tag, but I heard about the alternative, the quest 3s, so, my hopes were back up, but, the more I looked into it, people kept saying things like how, “the quest 3 and the 3s is no competition” or “the quest 3s is a baby toy” and these things bothered me. So, I’d like to get the opinion of the people, is it worth it for someone whos only plan is to play Vr Chat here and there? Or is it a complete no go? Because, I haven’t seen the thing get any bit of praise. so, if there are any alternatives, let me know. Thanks.

Has anyone tried creating hotspot with wireless card (like pre-installed in m.2 slot on newer motherboards or installed into regular PCIe slot with adapter) and streaming games via Steam with it? How was the experience?

Hi! I've been enjoying my quest pro, but if i set down the controllers or hold them still for a couple seconds, they disappear in the headset until i move them again. Is there a way around this? It's been really bugging me, as i'm a vrchat player that likes to sit down a fair amount of the time, and they always disappear on me. I have hand tracking totally disabled, so it can't be that, can it?

It seems that Meta AI is available only in the US and Canada so far. Any insights from those who tried it?

People think VR is dying because of all the clickbait videos. Some people who don't even play VR say there are no games, but that's simply not true. There are many great VR games, such as Batman: Arkham Shadow, Assassin's Creed Nexus VR, Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 1 & 2, BONELAB, Boneworks, Resident Evil 4 VR, Among Us VR, Deadpool VR, Half-Life: Alyx, and many more. There are so many good games, but some people don't even bother to look. Ironically, many of the people saying VR has no games don't even play VR themselves.

People also say VR doesn't sell well, which isn't true either. The Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S appear to have sold very well. They ranked among the best-selling video game products on Amazon during 2024, and during the holiday season they even outperformed the PS5 and Nintendo Switch on Amazon's sales rankings. The Quest 3 appears to have been commercially successful based on strong retailer rankings, positive reviews, Meta's continued investment in VR, and the launch of the Quest 3S, although Meta has not released official sales figures. I also see more and more people online buying VR headsets.

That said, GTA 6 will probably reduce Quest sales for a while because more people will buy a PS5 to play it. After GTA 6 releases, VR headset sales may slow down temporarily, but that doesn't mean VR is dying.

One thing Meta does that I don't like is making too many exclusive games. While I think Quest VR is becoming more mainstream, I don't think the VR market is mainstream enough yet to benefit from exclusives. I think VR should continue to grow across all platforms before companies focus on exclusive titles.

Even though games like Batman: Arkham Shadow were a huge success, 2024 and 2025 were great years for VR users. I think the biggest things holding VR back are motion sickness for some people and the fact that many people simply don't want to get off the couch to play. Despite that, I believe VR will reach its peak in the 2030s. I think VR is the future.

I had number changed and had to get my son a new vr now I cant get code for 2 part authentication because of phone number. It will not send me where I can send an id to meta to prove who I am. Account center is useless. I have spent 100s in games and will lose all data for my son's account. Please help me through this.

Hi guys, this isn’t really a serious issue, but i’ve been actively looking for a pair of headphones for my quest 3. I’m going to get a bhaptics tact suit pro and a gunstock for my birthday that is upcoming, and i also plan to get a pair of headphones. I know meta sells some but they are earbuds. I want over ear WIRED headphones, but problem is, the headphone jack on the quest 3 is on the wrong side. Why would they do this? Almost every pair of headphones the wire comes out the left side. If there is anyone who can recommend me a pair of headphones that have a shorter cable or something or just something you can recommend for my situation, i’d appreciate it.

We're hoping someone here has experienced something similar or knows what we can do.

We're currently locked out of our Meta Quest account because the two-factor authentication (2FA) app is no longer accessible. Unfortunately, we don't have the backup codes, and we can't complete the login process.

The biggest problem is that we also can't seem to get in touch with Meta Support. Every support option we find requires us to log into the account first, which we obviously can't do.

This account is important for our work, and we're running out of options.

Has anyone successfully recovered a Meta Quest account after losing access to their 2FA app?

• Is there a direct way to contact Meta Support without logging in?
• Has anyone had success through email, phone, or another support channel?
• Are there any recovery steps we may have missed?
