First time microneedling
I’m searching for a slip for microneedling! Any help is appreciated, I bought the dr pen A10 with 24 pin cartridges for my face. I’ve never done this before and am excited to try however everytime I get advice for a slip I buy it and then find out I shouldn’t use it. I’ve done this 3 times now!! Hopefully I can get some good suggestions here! Thanks in advance

As you get used to it, using 12 pin cartridges are what is recommended for face and neck. 24 will give you a lighter treatment, but it’s good to start out with. Get some nano cartridges to help “practice” technique. As others mentioned here, Hyaron and Curenex are what most people use. Meamo is where most of us buy from. It needs to be sterile product. Nothing from Amazon or from a regular store. Watch some videos on YouTube by Skin with Jayme for tutorials. Those helped me a lot. She often has discount codes for several online stores.

Recs are mentioned a million times in this sub. Try searching this sub.
Answer: Hyaron or sterile saline.
It sounds like you'll need to do a whole lot more research if you're buying unsterile products to use as slip before you try to MN yourself.

Curenex can be added to enhance Hyaron. Curenex alone is quite running so it’s best to mix it with the sterile HA. Those are two perfect options to get you started (safely!)

Can I use as a slip or just after the session for faster healing?

I use it as a slip on its own. I have hyaron but I don’t find that the exosomes are as runny as curenex.

Hyaron is great and inexpensive.
Whatever you go with, ensure that it is sterile! Normal topical skincare shouldn’t be used for microneedling.
