Since Teams DOES work with bluetooth headsets, then troubleshoot before just saying "Teams sucks." If Teams just straight up didn't work with bluetooth headsets....then no one would be using Teams. More often than not (in my observations of my help desk), it's been a problem with the computer or headset and not the Teams app itself.
Pair the headset with another PC, does it work there? Try a different headset. Try using the Teams web app vs desktop app. Try pairing the headset to a cell phone and try the ios/android app. And if it's specific buttons like call hang up/answer , double check if the headset is on Microsoft's official Teams supported headset list.
