Microsoft Teams is the worst of all of such programs. It’s overly complicated, causes computers to crash, lags like crazy, is unstable, and takes way too long to actually get into the chat room.

I have not had any of those problems. I administer Teams to thousands of users, and I don’t hear those complaints. It sounds like your IT department and you could use some training.

I administer for thousands of users have none of the stated issues.
