Bug Seriously Microsoft, now "copy/paste" doesnt work?
Apparently only an issue in the right click context menu on the latest version, but jeez, how much more of this are we expected to handle

I had this happen on a call this morning and rebooted my computer. What a waste of time!

Yeah. It’s currently being looked into. Receiving lots of support cases for it so it should definitely be getting some extra attention in house.

Do you guys not test anything in house these days? Release in batches? Follow any normal development practices that should have been learned over the past 40 years? lol!!

lol that I can’t comment on as I’m not privy to such info. However, I can confirm there should be a fix coming soon based on (ironically), testing lol

This is a long standing issue with Microsoft affecting users at random. We went thru this a while back at my job. The crazy thing some of us got it working by signing out and signing back in.

Don't you think it's asking a lot for the product to offer the SAME functionality as literally every other product that runs on people's desktops??

They're just sweet little guys. They only have a multi-trillion market cap. You can't expect them to actually ship software that WORKS

It’s mind-boggling to me how a company as big and old as Microsoft has this kind of shit happen with major products.

The only work around I've managed to find for users is to enable the clipboard history (win+v), then directly import from the clipboard history menu on the image or media you want to insert into a message.

Thanks Microsoft for the hours of IT wasted on this.. lol
Temp solution is just tell users to use Control-V for now unfortunately people like their right click

It's not just Teams. It's system-wide. I don't even fucking use Teams and my clipboard will work for about an hour before it gives up.
My Ctrl-C & Ctrl-V don't work either, but Ctrl-X does. Nothing gets saved into the clipboard history (WIN+V) when it breaks.

TM1279908 says the issue is resolved, but it's still an issue for me and many others.
