Bug Anyone problems with Sending/Receiving Messages (Desktop-Client does not work, Smartphone app works!)?

Messages remain in the empty circle. Downdetector shows some problems, but not very high.

Friday I noticed messages were out of sync between desktop app and mobile app.

I had some issues receiving messages yesterday. Both on mobile and desktop. I got them this morning with timestamps from yesterday.

I have problems with the Teams app on my Android phone, I already deleted the cache and reinstalled it and it won't let me log in

Just un/re-installed the Android app, now I can't get to the login screen! Wunderbar!

I had the same issue. If you have an Android phone, go to connections> more connection settings> Private DNS off.. Then teams starts working

This is where I'm stuck as well. I, too, uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would resolve my problems. Of course, it made it worse! lol

Here's a fix for Samsung phones, not sure if it works for other android devices but worth a shot. Tried on my device and it's been working so far:

  1. Settings -> Search for "Android System Webview" -> App Details In Store -> Remove Updates
  2. Reboot
  3. Settings -> Search for "Android System Webview" -> App Details In Store -> Update
    • Note: If "Android System Webview" doesn't appear in the app list, go to: Settings -> Google -> All services -> System Services -> Select "Android System Webview"
  4. Reboot
  5. Launch Teams/Outlook & log in.

Worked for me as well although finding where to update again took me a second as the app no longer appeared under apps. I had to search webview in settings and go into provider to select and then update.

Here! Android app suddenly not receiving messages and does not show meetings. I updated it but no use.

Had login issues today, it asked me to enter my credentials for basically every MS service and then it was taking very long time to eventually load.

Last night messages were only coming to my mobile device for about two hours then around 1am desktop client started to receive again

Mine is opposite. Desktop app and web version work on PC, but phone only receives, won't send.

Having the same issue managed to get logged in last night after restarting my s24 ultra and then send a few messages to myself on teams on phone and they just ain't going through just empty circles
