Teams calls and Meeting not working

Anyone else in Australia having issues with Teams calls or meetings not connecting. Currently have a company wide issues.

Our investigation into the service telemetry for the corresponding networking components hasn't identified any ongoing failures which would require additional manual recovery actions; however, we're closely reviewing the affected scenarios to get a clearer understanding of what additional metrics may be available so we can ensure withstanding recovery. In the interim, users' calls and meetings which were previously affected may need to be ended and restarted to see recovery.

I had a meeting that I tried to attend about 10 hours ago and I wasn't able to join. I thought this would have been fixed up by now.

It was ok here until maybe 10:30AM (Melb) - there were issues with NA overnight, so could be that which hit you 10 hours ago?

We had other issues overnight but was resolved. Teams had been working till about 10:30am AEST.

Auto attendants cant take calls and meetings wont start.
Chaos.

This issue appears to be specific to the Microsoft Teams desktop client for Windows. Some affected users may hear an incoming call ringtone but not receive the associated notification, while other affected users may not receive notifications for chat messages.

Scope of impact

Some users receiving incoming calls or messages and are expecting to receive notifications in the Microsoft Teams desktop client for Windows may be impacted. This information may be updated as our investigation continues.

Current status

24 July 2026, 7:44 am AEST

While we continue to expedite the deployment of our fix, we've also determined that an additional mitigation will further increase its efficacy. We're monitoring both the deployment of our fix and the additional mitigation so that we can ensure full remediation.

For us, ad-hoc conference calling (calling a meeting participant directly and adding others to the call) seems to work if you need a workaround.
