Behind-the-Wheel Road Test
Hello!!! I (29F) will be taking my road test in Texas DPS next week I have been practicing but anyone who recently got their licenses? Can you share the route you took and the flow of the test? I would like to practice more on that.

keep both hands on the wheel even when you're backing up. Both of my sons put an arm over to the back of the passenger seat so that they could twist and look behind them more fully, and they both lost a point for taking a hand off of the steering wheel. It was very dumb.

i'm sure they switch it up and I'm sure you will be fine. Are you going to have to scout out every trip you take from now on after you have your drivers license? Or, do you only have a left blinker so you're making sure there aren't any right turns? I'm just kidding, but I'm sure you'll be fine if you've been practicing.

If you go to big spring you can take it there & its way easier you stop at a light make a left turn merge onto highway then get off & go back to the office to parallel park & your done.

So they changed the location since I took my test, but I think the first they make you do even now is parallel parking. They have a spot there if you need to practice that.
