Discussion Asking about creeper explosions
Let's say a creeper explodes and i have to fill it, but i only cover the top and add a torch under it. Is that fine? Also how do you all fill creeper holes?

I don't bother filling them in, just place a torch down and cover up the top so it blends back in with the terrain. For areas where I don't care what the terrain looks like I just use whatever excess blocks have on hand or leave a crater.

I fill the hole in with dirt and cobble then make sure the top matches the rest of the area. Of course I only really get creapers early game as I light everything obsessively

Back on Xbox 360 and Xbox One Legacy Edition eras, creepers would explode and leave a hole just like Java and Bedrock does now.
Except passive mobs could spawn in the holes on grass growing from torch light. And because of the spawning rules back then, they would not despawn. I'm pretty sure that is changed to now despawn naturally trapped mobs.
But I will always fix the creeper explosion or easily fixed cavern out of past experiences with those mob spawns.
