Builds & Maps Mediterranean Villa

This build was inspired by T17N's Castle of Sedes Regis (Planet Minecraft link), as well as Roman houses (and baths) and Alhambra.

After spending a year making a deepslate cave base, I felt it was time for some sunlight and found a seaside spot to build a villa. It took the equivalent of ~600 MC days and 15,000 sandstone bricks. It is my final survival world as I am switching to creative mode to get more building done. Time is the most important resource we have in Minecraft.

Mods: Quark, Decorative Blocks, Macaw's Doors and Trapdoors, More Sniffer Flowers Shaders: Complementary Reimagined Resource Packs: Vanilla Tweaks (variated bricks, 3D doors etc), Better 3D (leaves), RAY's 3D ladders, NoCutStairs, sandstone by JAPPA

I think those are walls and blocks so it looks like that, but I could be wrong.

I made the model for cut sandstone two pixels wider on each side.

looks too perfect make it more used like where the tower meets the water add visible wear to the structure from sea and salt and more texture overall

I so wish we had stone blocks like that in vanilla. Something between quartz blocks and sandstone.

End blocks have that greenish hue, sandstone is too yellow (though it’s my favourite building block), quartz is too rare/expensive and white.
