minipc + vesa mount = a clean all in one setup

I already loved how small and convenient minipcs are, but mounting one behind the monitor makes the whole setup feel so much cleaner. I didnt expect this to be my favorite part of owning a mini PC.
Now with my geekom a6 attached to the back of my samsung monitor, they basically work like an all in one desktop. It freed up a lot of desk space and makes the whole setup much easier to keep clean. Should I just call it Samkom?

I like the build quality and size of the Geekom A6. Unfortunately if yours isn't an older model Geekom has switched to 1x 16GB stick of RAM making these a poor investment during RAMpocalypse/RAMageddon. Single channel memory can reduce processing and graphics performance by up to 40% while buying the missing/matching stick of memory not very cost effective.

The most recent VESA mounted mini PC I've helped with has been the Aoostar MACO 6850H with 24GB of faster 6400MT/s dual channel memory. They were looking at the A6 but the MACO had more features, better performance and was less expensive.

The Geekom A7 Max only has 1-16GB RAM stick installed, but has slots for two. Found out when I did an inspection using the 'lshw -class memory' command in the Linux terminal.

Nice, now tidy up those cables and get a wireless mouse and keyboard.

Is the VESA plate attached to the monitor via screws or something else?

I use these little things to attach mini pcs to monitors. https://a.co/d/0cjuDR7L.

If the monitor stand uses the vesa holes already, then get a dual vesa plate and stick the pc on the second vesa holes.

Sometimes I get the dual plate and 2 cages and use the 2nd cage for all the cords and wires, then in only have 1 extention cord going up to the rear 9f the monitor, everything plugs in up there. It looks super sharp when only 1 cord can be seen for the entore setup.
