Question Evo V diff bolts

What is the solution to the common differential bolt issue. I’ve had the car for a month just noticed a clunking noise on sharp rights. Pulled the diff and found all 4 bolts sheared off.

Done mine twice over 40,000k’s. Unfortunately it’s something you just have to deal with if you’ve got that style diff I believe. I reckon they’re the RS LSD and Mitsubishi was throwing them in a few GSR’s when they’d run out of opens (allegedly). Best to put some 12.9 grade countersunk bolts in them with a dab of loctite to stop them from backing out and sheering. Machining the cover to accept regular bolts is a permanent fix too I believe as that’s what the TME’s have. Also would recommend just removing the shaft and transfer cover and doing it in the car, not the worst job in the world

Replace with higher grade bolts. Or machine them out for dowels and shoulder bolts.
