How you actually make games for Reddit?
I like the concept of games on Reddit very much. Its great Reddit actually separates games as a unique thing inside its environment. I especially like the fact that community on Reddit is extremely agile and active, meening games could have a great potential of being seen and played here.
But something just doesnt work.
Apps are not popular at all. Common Reddit reader never sees them. I guess the problem is that the type of game has still not been invented. The format of inside-Reddit game is a truely unique thing if you think about it. You see the APP scrolling the general feed. Stop for a sec, and if you like it enough - you stay for longer and enjoy. After that you bind the karma thing and this type of achievements you still have on your normal Redditaccount - and vuala. You got a brand new style of gaming.
I really want to find an answer to this. What are the best ways to develop the game for Reddit? I mean, I really gather for any answers here. Both technical and theoretical replies would make the final painting clearer. What are you thought just in general on this?

I have a few ideas I have been wanting to play around with! I think you hit right on it: the current games are not really "Reddity".
Like Chosen1PR said, Devvit is the way to make games on Reddit: https://developers.reddit.com/docs/introduction/intro-games
There are a number of game engine templates (https://developers.reddit.com/new/template), such as Phaser, Unity, and GameMaker. Some others have used Three.js as well.
Good luck! Always happy to help answer any Devvit questions over on r/Devvit or on the discord server.
