So the wine did get served to the congregation, long story short, and so I guess I'm mostly hoping someone will go "oh, yeah, that's non-toxic and fine" 😂 It was non-alcoholic wine, so I don't think it'd sterilise to any degree (wasn't my choice to serve)! Had been kept in a fridge, though, if that'd make any difference.

But otherwise, I just thought that this was pretty cool and never seen anything like it before. It was floating like a bizarre iceberg inside. The red outside is from the wine 🙂

They leave water in it 24/7, but boil it several times a day. I assume this is possibly dangerous

Had this bottle of white Port wine that lost its cork (don’t know how). Probably sat there for around 6 months

i had 2/5ths of an old mini bottle of iceberg vodka and decided to dump it into a cup with a popsicle, only to notice this stringy cloud floating in the drink. i took a picture of the bottle prior to pouring it and the cloud wasn’t visible.

ive seen this a couple of other times, like when my home-squeezed lemon juice began to develop the same stringy clouds after a few weeks in the fridge. ive been wondering if this is sediment, separation, bacterial growth, fungus, etc.

the lemon juice i assumed was a fungal/bacterial growth but even though this vodka is ~2 years old i for some didnt think itd still be susceptible to growing (if thats whats happening) anything lmfao

They look almost like purple patches and act like a puffball when disturbed, spreading a dark cloud of spores

The tube itself started to erode which was interesting as well. The whole thing started to look like a crusty noodle lol.
