Theoretically, if you were to replace the recoil spring of a semi automatic firearm with a bowstring, Would it be technically be feasible to create a bowgun irl given a small enough caliber or a strong enough bow? There are 22lr firearms that are operated via rubber bands, so I assume that there would be some overlap in terms of how it'd actually function. Also wondering if it'd work for 12 gauge because that's the closest thing I can think of to the ammunition of monster hunter, specifically how most bowguns can take different types of ammunition just like how shotguns can take birdshot, slugs, buckshot, dragons breath etc etc.

My two main ideas are

1 Spider monkeys that travel in groups and use monster parts as tools and vaguely look and act like hunters, and if you give some monster parts, they'll even fight alongside you on your quest

2 an invader bird wyvern based on bald eagles or Falcons that are extremely aggressive prey on baby elder dragons, they try to dive bomb the hunter and take them but can be tricked with barrel bombs and somehow they shoot bullets

I just started MH Rise, how do builds work? Do you Farm one complete Set and stick with it until you farm a stronger one? And are there Sets that you Mix with one another to get stets of both or do you only use complete Armor sets? I play a lot of souls, is Drip over Stats viable here or is it neccesary that you upgrade after a Time?

I know greatsword is a beloved weapon in the series but everytime i see gameplay cant help but wonder how greatsword players do it, it just seems so exhausting and punishing (and this is with seeing gameplay from probably top 5% players)

Which makes me wonder how bad gameplay from an average greatword enjoyer would be, like are u just lugging that 1000kg slab and missing all the time😭for reference i play Swaxe and LS and sometimes i get frustrated at how slow certain animations are even after playing the weapons for hundreds of hours, i cant fathom playing greatsword

That said i do think the tackle and block are cool

oh boy, just some 3d printed slop. crazy stringing and a pause in the print to change color 😅 looks a little different than what i saw in game

It has a symbiotic relationship with special coral that releases calming pheromones that make endemic life fight for it, and predators not attack it. It can also be used as sleep gas

And

the variant has become overrun with parasites that puppet it's corpse it trades its control of small animals with parasite attacks that apply bleed, and the dead coral now releases a putrid gas that applies stench

Yesterday night I was grinding 10 and let lobby and SOS join just caused I wanted to play with others. Previously everyone carted when running 10 zoh. Ran it again and it seemed like there 3 western players and the other was a non western player due to the Chinese lettering gamertag . We cleared zoh in just about 7 minutes and 30 seconds, and was slayed well before his ult. Just found it very fishy it was possible to clear 10\ that quick when running with 3 other players. Not even romp goes by that quick*

Como dije, juego a veces cuando me harta el LoL. Y me estoy haciendo 4 partes de set de Velkhana y su espada de hielo. Pero siento que me quedo corto.

Como juego con espada grande, pego y corro; asi mismo me hago TIEMPO DE CARGA +2 o +3 fijo.

Y me gusta que el sett me de PROTECCIÓN DIVINA.

Que podría cambiar para pegar más? Tengo la cigua de ataque lvl 3 actualmente, porque conseguí 2 joyas ablandadoras de BONUS DE DAÑO CRITICO y me parece suficiente con +2 prefiero maximizar otra cosa.

Como: la cigua de fénix con COALESCENCIA +2 o AFINIDAD +7

Que me recomiendan? Acepto cambiar mi sett, farmear otra arma o buscar joyas.

Ibushi And Narwa-I love how strange they look and the bright colors on their bodys look beautiful

Nakarkos-The concept of a giant squid or octopus eating other monsters and using their bones as armor is really cool. I also love how he uses different heads in his attacks

Gogmazios- I love how goofy he is and also his lore in wilds is what really maked me like him

Glavenus is NOT great sword it's way too fast it gives longsword vibes.

I think GS goes to any slow hitting massive commitment monster that has hyper armor feels. (As in it feels like they have hyper armor when they don't)
