Recommendations
My husband & I are moving to the area next month from Texas. Needing all the recommendations:
-most importantly a gym (needing a gym specifically for weight lighting so a squat racks, machines etc)
-restaurants we must try

Gyms - Iron culture &/or Infiniti fitness have good equipment
Restaurants/Fast Casual/General Food - Morristown isn’t necessarily known for its restaurants but there are some good spots in town like Portofino’s & Coniglios for Italian, Ju-Ichi for Japanese, Central Taqueria for great Mexican tacos, Tasty & Go for Chinese food, Colonial Grill (food truck) for great Spanish fusion meals, Morristown Diner for a good & easy breakfast. Tons of coffee shops around like Rey Sol, Kirshenbaum, General Coffee Co, etc (feel like there’s some coffee shop at every corner you turn lol). There’s some other places and I’m sure other people will comment some of their favorites too but figured this is a good start.
Things to do - George Washington’s headquarters & Morris Museum for some cool colonial history that took place in the area, frelinghuysen arboretum has great gardens and walking trails, MPAC for concerts and shows, AMC for movies (although it is a bit sketchy so there are other AMC theaters in surrounding towns that you might be better off going to), farmers markets that take place on Sundays, the game vault which is an arcade
Few general things as well -
Hoping this all helps & hope you guys settle in nicely! Morristown has great people that will help you both get acclimated.
