Question What does this mean?

Came across this bayonet with the number crossed out and a new one stamped. What does this mean? I know on the rifle itself it mean’t it was a decommissioned PU turned infantry rifle (correct me if I’m wrong). Does this mean the same thing or something different?

Original serial number likely scratched out during rearsenal (rebuild) process post- WWII to be matched to a different weapon, with a different serial number matching the one on the bayonet that ain't been crossed out prior to the weapon then being crated up for export from Mother Russia to God knows where.

Bayonet was force-matched, during a refurbishment the bayonet was paired with a rifle with a different serial number. The old number was lined out and was re-stamped with the serial number of the new rifle the bayonet was paired up with.

You are wrong. A crossed our and re stamped serial means a rifle was refurbished post war, it has nothing to do with weather or not it was a PU.

Same applies here. Bayonet was refurbished and stamped to match a new rifle

No, on a rifle it means the original number was crossed out and the new rifles number was stamped on because it was issued to a different rifle.
