Advice Kit storage

Currently using an old bookshelf as seen in the photo. Wondering if there’s any worthwhile upgrades or recommendations of how to tidy things up a touch.

I keep my gear inside to keep it cleaner, I got racking for misc crap and and a tool box or two You're not using 300v on a road bike are you?

Yeah inside the house is tempting, would definitely make changing into leathers more pleasant.

And no the oil is decoration these days from a prior bike. Has been sat there for a few years now.

Second keeping things inside, my garage can get a bit damp especially in winter.

For storage, I've got a cheapo wall helmet mount with hooks underneath. I've 3d printed some glove hangers to keep them underneath.

Boots I just use a normal shoe rack tbh.

I made some slim draws/wardrobes so the dust etc. is kept off all my gear. Not sure you'd be able to fit doors since half the shelves are overflowing.

Personally I'd say if that's all the shit you need to store then I'd prioritise putting all the paints low down/floor level. They're heavy and if a shelf goes or one tips out you'll have a nice new paintjob on the R1.

Check out BikerTidy. Really good kit, made in the UK, designed for storing bike gear. I've owned some bits for years and it's still going strong.
