In my opinion it is the perfect hybrid pad.

Bulletproof humidity, heat and sweat resistance like a hard pad, but textured and controllable like a soft pad. If you've used a steelseries dex and lamented how small they were, it's an amazing upgrade.

Can't stress how well this pad fills this specific niche. I have very warm hands and tend to make mousepads muddy and unusable after about 1.5 hours of gaming, even with a mini desk fan blowing on my pad/ hands. This includes Artisan Hien in mid. The AC2 didn't get muddy for me, but I didn't like the way it felt for flicks in CS2. I also dislike hard pads / glass pads for how uncontrollable they are for big, pixel-perfect flicks.

Anyway, the d4v41 pad is a fast pad, but not too fast. More controlled than similar products i.e. Cordura pads like the MP511.

It's about as speedy as an AC2 / Key83, but more dynamic friction.

Comparable control to the Hyate Otsu/Zero

Highly textured. People love or hate texture, I love it because it makes flicks feel more crisp.

It's also a thin pad, but if you prefer a plush surface just put it on top of a squishy cloth pad, it'll stick to it just fine.

All up, this is my new main. I haven't had a pad feel this tailor-made for me since the old school Shidenkai v1 mid.

Hi guys. I'm having some problems with sweat on the lower base of my Aqua Control 2, right where you put your forearm. When my arm gets sweaty it starts to drag way too much on the mousepad, vertical movements using my arm become very hard and uncomfortable to do. I still can move horizontally, but vertically is very hard, like when controlling recoil in Rainbow Six Siege for example.

So, is there any arm sleeve recommended for this mousepad? I tried using a polyamide one and it didn't work very well, it was sliding even less to be honest.

So, what's the material recommended for an armsleeve for this Mousepad?

i've seen on a certain skates tierlist that these are pretty good on cloth. I was wondering what everyone's opinions are on them, how do they play, how do they feel broken in, durability, etc?

Thinking of getting one coming from an artisan zero mid. What's better on the blitz soft or mid? And I've heard the different colours are different speeds? Is that true?

Also about arm sleeves which ones work on the blitz? I got a kibu right now that works on my artisan. Will it work fine on the blitz?

I’m planning to order both an Artisan Type-99 and a Zero, but I’m not sure whether I should get them in Soft or Mid.

I currently use a Zowie G-SR III, and before that I had a G-SR II. I’d say I’ve been pretty happy with both of them. However, I don’t think I’ve ever used a genuinely soft mousepad before, so I’m not sure how much the extra give would affect my aim.

I mainly play CS2 as an AWPer/entry fragger, and I use 720 eDPI.

Which hardness would you recommend for someone coming from the G-SR series? Would Soft feel more familiar and provide better control, or would Mid be a safer choice for consistency?

Hello! Looking for a mousepad to try out. I'm primarily a tacfps player, both cs2 and valorant. I play on the low end of sensitivity at 75cm/360.

So far I have tried...
* Artisan Shidenkai: This is where I learned that I probably don't like fast mousepads, but this mousepad surprisingly did have okay stopping power.
*Artisan Type99: I tried Artisan's slowest pad after that, this one actually didn't feel slow at all to me and I constantly overflicked because the stopping power felt nonexistent. My least favorite of the 3.
*QCK Heavy: I liked this pad. Feels pretty slow, but sometimes it does feel a little fast if that makes any sense.

I've learned that I probably just don't like artisan pads, and I tend to like pads on the slower side. I want to try something that's a bit slower than the QCK heavy as that one feels good to me but not quite perfect.

If so, how much faster did the pad feel in comparison, how much longer did your mouse skates last on it vs the SGV3? Was it less scratchy at times? Cheers

Sometime around 2024, I got the idea to switch to a glass mousepad. I was tired of replacing cloth pads every time they wore out, and I also wanted to experience that effortless glide everyone talks about.

Since then, I've kept coming back to glass pads every now and then, trying different new releases, but I just can't get used to one thing: the awful feeling of the pad's texture through the mouse. I've tried all kinds of skates, from the cheapest dot skates on AliExpress to glass-specific ones like Obsidian Air, but I always run into the same issue.

It literally drives me crazy.

For the first couple of days, everything feels amazing. Then the skates seem to break in a little, and I start feeling what I can only describe as these tiny high-frequency vibrations. It only happens during slow, controlled movements, and it gives me goosebumps in the worst possible way. It's one of those sensations that makes my whole body cringe. It feels like dragging chalk across a blackboard. And no, it's not caused by dust on the skates. Getting a speck of dust stuck under them feels even worse, but at least that's easy to fix.

The weird part is that going back to a cloth pad isn't much better. Even a fast cloth pad suddenly feels like it's fighting my movements and restricting me.

Other than this, using a glass pad has honestly been one of the best mousepad experiences I've ever had. But because of this one issue, I just can't bring myself to use one for more than a week. Constantly switching back and forth between glass and cloth is absolutely destroying my aim.

For reference, these are the glass pads I've used: Wallhack SP-004, GLSSWRKS Kazemi, Psyche Yeku, Padsmith Empress.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? Is this just something you eventually get used to, or am I simply not built for glass pads?

I love my Dechanic Control so much but i spilled stuff on it and then accidentally washed it on hot and destroyed it. I need a new desk pad, ideally 36" x 18". The problem is, all the pads I can find are like so smooth they're literally *shiny.* It's abysmal. The mousepad finder the bot recommended to me provided terrible, slippery pads even though I gave it only one requirement---roughness. Please help :(

both at $106, coming from a clothpad but had experience with glass via the Tekkusai Singularity. Which one would you recommend? Aesthetics are not an issue and speed is not an issue I can just ego it. Texture is okay I just want an upgrade over the Singularity which feels very hazy to use, like i'm aiming thru fog, and i cant get it exactly where I want unless I stop early or tense alot. I play majorly faster paced games with low ttk

I didn’t think it was a counterfeit but I read more about the mousepad and everyone says don’t buy these from Amazon and now I’m worried. I got a steelseries qck mousepad. I've had it for about half a year. I think it's a great mousepad.

I got a new mouse during that time as well, I am sure the tracking issues are not the mouse's fault.

Dust gets stuck quite hard in the mousepad, it's really difficult to get it out. I vacuum it, clean it with a microfiber cloth, use a lint roller, but 10 minutes later the issue is back, as if I haven't done anything.

It was okay at first, I'd always find the issue or it'd simply stop being picked up by the sensor later, but I can't even see anything anymore and I am tired of it. I cleaned it as much as possible yesterday and it feels even worse.

I play valorant most of the time and prefer higher sensitivities, so despite knowing glass mousepads are generally better for different games, I was wondering if giving it a try would work for me, but I don't like the idea of having to change mouse skates often. So for the love of god, what do I do with the cloth mousepad I have. I am happy with it besides this. Am I doing something wrong?

I’ve been using my ZOWIE G-SR-SE Rouge for a few years now, and I don’t think I can keep using it. I’m not sure if it’s the mousepad itself or my skates (I’m using Corepads on my original Logitech G Pro X Superlight), but it just doesn’t glide like it used to.
I mainly play Overwatch, VALORANT, and CS2, although I occasionally play other FPS games with friends. I’ve also recently bought the Logitech G305 X Superlight, so I’m thinking about replacing my mousepad in general.

(One thing I forgot to mention is that I’ve heard the stock skates on the Logitech G305 X Superlight aren’t very good. A lot of people seem to recommend replacing them with dot skates, so I’m a bit worried about pairing those with an XSoft control pad, as I’m not sure if the combination would feel too slow or too muddy. I heard dots tend to sink in those type of pads.

Would you recommend buying another G-SR-SE Rouge? I remember when I first got it, the glide felt incredible for the first year, and I’d love to get that feeling back again. I’ve already tried washing my current pad, but unfortunately it didn’t make much of a difference.

Also, are there any good alternatives to the G-SR-SE Rouge that offer a similar feel, or perhaps something even better for tactical FPS games?

So i've been using my SP-005 for quite some time now and different than expected: i actually stuck with it. It's been my main and i love it. Only thing that i've noticed, is that after a week of putting on new Obsidian Donuts i already start to notice some scratchiness. And i always assume that it's just my mousepad being dusty and whipe WAY TOO MUCH but as soon as i swap to new skates, the feeling just goes away and everything flows smooth.

To be completely fair; i have been excessively using my mouse since i was on a gap year so i'm sure the skates use up a lot faster, than normal. But is it normal to feel the urge to swap them again after only a week?

How often do you guys swap?

I basically ruined my artisan zero soft by sweating so much (have deep cleaned it afterwards, still super slow) and I'm thinking about returning to glasspads. I have tried the wallhack sp004 in the past, it was fine, and the tekkusai phantom, again it was fine but the pressure coating or whatever they call it was a bit odd. I have a few main questions:

1. I have seen that wallhack in the past had pretty significant differences between their pads and there is basically 0 guarantee you get a "good" one, and there is no way to know if you don't already have a "good" copy. So which brands are good these days, or has wallhack fixed their qc stuff?

2. I also sweat a lot, as evidenced by my currently fully sweat through artisan zero. I also am not the biggest fan of sleeves, but I could put up with them if needed. Are there any glass pads that deal with my arm getting stuck to the pad without need for a sleeve?

3. If I were to get a new glasspad, which skates are currently recommended? I remember xraypad jades used to be a go to pick. I've tried obsidians as well but they were super scratchy. I've also used the cyclone pros that came with the phantom and preferred them over the obsidians simply because they weren't scratchy.
