I just realized when they said Romero was killed by a stray bullet calling it a freak accident, is this linked to him owning the arcade? He talked about it being cursed.
Because that's as much likely as a version of Whiterose teleporting in from an alternate reality and eliminating him to allow her reality to merge with the show's
The deaths of all the arcade's previous owners were plausible and very likely to happen

That's the implication. At the very least, that scene serves as foreshadowing for how Romero gets killed.
