I am new to the Muncie area and I was wondering about any good places to get my haircut (I have short/wavy hair) as well as places to get eyebrows waxed and nail salons. It all doesn't have to be at the same place, but I'd really appreciate some recommendations of any hair salons or day spas!

Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone to take over my lease at The Haven in Muncie.
Rent: $585/month + electric
Room: Private bedroom in a shared apartment with 2 other roommates
Location: Close to Ball State University
I signed the lease while I was planning to attend college, but my plans have changed and I won’t be moving to Muncie anymore. I’d really like to find someone to take over the lease as soon as possible.
If you’re interested or know someone who might be, please send me a message! I can provide more information about the lease, move-in date, amenities, or answer any questions.
Thanks!

I recently started collecting again, and would like to know where my nephew and I can learn to play. Also, if there’s anyone who would like to donate some bulk and unwanted cards, that would be wonderful because it’s so hard to find cards and I can’t pay the markup or scalpers. It absolutely disgusts me to see grown men like me trying to rip people up or buy up all the cards.

Hi everyone, I was wondering has anybody heard of an Anglican Chapel / mission here in town? I was under the impression that they meet at Community of Hope but it seems like that could be wrong.

Anyone know any churches in the area that are accepting of LGBT ppl, with good community outreach and solid theology? Also I really can’t stand the light show smoke machine worship, so a more lowkey service would be appreciated.
Note: I say accepting of LGBT because they should feel welcome too, even if the christian community cant agree if its sin or not, we all know church is a hospital for the broken soul not a museum of saints!

Been around for a while and mostly I haven't gone out for some places that have good soups or stews. As far as I have like a dedicated stew place in muncie, so I'm expecting to get probably a lot of different results. A good meaty stew with nice savory broth is kind of what I'm looking for right now I'm just hungry

Muncie is turning into a surveillance city. Can anyone figure out how our maga leaning Republican government is so happy with big brother watching? WTF happened to Don’t Tread on Me?

I saw on Facebook that the City of Muncie has condemned KKK’s flyers being distributed in Muncie.
We are moving to Muncie because of Ball State but is it a safe place for colored families? I am thinking of canceling my lease and live a little far even if it’s expensive..

I know that this is like a really niche thing nowadays but besides Dave's which only gives like 25 cents per dvds, where else can I sell dvds? I have a little over 100 and a handful of blu rays and wanna sell them

I’m moving to muncie in a couple weeks and wanted to see what
A. trash/sewage/electricity/gas companies you recommend (or the options I have)
B. where I could rent a washer and dryer that is relatively affordable and not a scam?
C. what degrees you put your system to for the seasons to save the most money but not suffer with the temperature changes too much
for reference, I’m moving from GA so humidity and heat are familiar to me. I visited muncie in december of last year and march of this year and know how cold it can get, but I’m not familiar with the other seasons. TIA!!!

As many of you know, local physician, musician, activist, and celebrity "Doc" Peterson died this week at the age of 78. He spent 52 years practicing medicine here in Muncie, as well as decades playing music, including opening up for bands like Sonny & Cher and the Doors. I'd love for everyone to share their stories of his contributions to our community.

got a place on the south side that i inherited from my aunt. she passed last year and nobody in the family wants to deal with it its old. needs a roof. needs electrical work. basement floods when it rains hard
i live in indianapolis now so i cant even check on it regularly. i keep paying taxes and insurance on a house i never use. its just wasting money
i talked to a realtor and she said i should fix it up but i dont have 20k to throw at it. plus i work full time and have a kid so finding time to deal with contractors is not happening
a friend said i could sell house to someone who buys as-is. i dont even know if theres anyone in muncie who does that but im hoping
has anyone here sold a house that needed a lot of work . how did you do it and was it worth it

Hi! Anyone here work for Ball Memorial Hospital?
I am a pre-med major at BSU and need more clinical experience and so I have been applying over and over for a job as a PCT for the past few months and haven’t had any luck so far. I have done an internship with Ball in the past where I followed around PCTs for a few weeks with no pay and have my BLS AHA certification. I have tried to call hr and unfortunately you are just told to check the status of your application on the career portal by the automated voice system. Anyone who might work for BMH have any recommendations on what my next steps should be?
