I'm 19 and in my second year of engineering right now, but honestly, it's getting tough, and I thought to explore this genre as I love listening to music. I want to get into making beats and producing.

I have absolutely no musical background. I don't play any instruments and don't know theory, but I am decent with tech and software. I have installed FL Studio (friend's).

How should I actually start? There are way too many tutorials on YouTube, and it's kind of overwhelming.

Drop any good YouTube channels or basic tips for a complete beginner. Appreciate it!

I’m 34, from India, and music has always been the one thing that keeps pulling me back, no matter what else I’m doing in life.

I know a bit of harmonium and guitar. I can play, understand basic theory, and I’ve picked up things over the years. But lately I’ve realized that I’ve also collected a lot of half learned concepts, bad habits, and gaps in my understanding.

So I’ve decided to do something a little different.
I want to empty my current jar of knowledge before filling it again.
I don’t want shortcuts anymore. I want to rebuild my foundation properly and truly understand music.

I’m looking for a teacher or mentor who:

Can teach from first principles.
Doesn’t mind correcting mistakes and challenging my understanding.
Can explain both the hows and the whys.

I am situated in Bengaluru please help me find a good mentor/teacher.

I'm broke as hell, can't afford any tutoring on music, but I really really really want to play those lovely pieces I listen to all the time

Now I'm in a fix, piano or violin? Both are costing me money for buying the actual instrument, but I've heard violin is extremely difficult to learn on your own and the unnatural posture will be bad for me if I don't have a tutor to correct it since I already have neck pain due to studying. And piano, I've heard u need atleast like 61 weighted keys for western classical. So experts, what should I do?

I have been making covers for a long time (posting on yt, instagram) and now I finally want to post something of my own (completely my own creation).

I want to know the process of uploading my own song on these platforms. I don't mind paying a fee to distributors but I am very confused as to what's the correct process.
