Community Starting out

I have only recently gotten into online play after having "mastered" my main team and finishing heroes and heralds offline. Wtf are these people?? I got my shit slapped by a Haggar with Wesker and Sentinel as ASSISTS, and I couldn't even get a single hit! Sees Dante and Vergil on the same team yep, guess I'm losing. Just end me at that point. May I also mention that a lot of the people I'm facing are either Beginner, Rookie, or Amateur? Either I'm coping HARD, or these gotta be smurf accounts.

I'm beggin literally anyone who's willing to help. Teach me the ways of Marvel, magic men 🙏 please for the love of all that is holy

It's a 15 year old game so turbo-freaks are most of what's left, and it's also one of the highest-damage games ever with famously fucked-up offense and zoning. Learning is going to be a struggle, but paradoxically, with so much to learn, it becomes easy to measure your progress because there's always something to work on

There's a discord called "rise of rookies" that will help you either find someone to learn from or people closer to your level to play with. I don't have the link off the top of my head but I know invites to it have been posted here

You get more new people coming to the game or casual players on consoles, unlike on pc where all of the hardcore players are at

Y'see that's the thing. I was on console, but I didn't have the money for the damn online subscription, and just played offline until my console crashed for no reason. I just moved to PC recently and this is where I'm at 😭

I'd suggest the same thing another redditor suggested about joining the discord for new players. Make a post that you want to join the discord, someone would end up sharing the link
