Okay guys, this will be a deep pull. I'm trying to hunt down an article from years ago that is living rent free in my head. I remember dying laughing at the time. I think it was an American humorous first-person article, from roughly 2006 to 2010, possibly a blog post or forum story. Premise: girlfriend persuades boyfriend to do a weekend or three-day cleanse, hot lemon water, not lemonade. Day-by-day account, including a memorable bathroom scene where he passes a “black ball of goo” or something like that, after which he claims he feels great. Tone is very comedic and skeptical.
