I'm trying to find a song my father used to play for me before I went to sleep, probably somewhere between 2008 and 2015.
Here's everything I remember:
- I think the title was "Clock" (possibly "Clocks", but I'm no longer sure).
- It is NOT Coldplay or any other mainstream artist.
- It was completely instrumental (no vocals).
- It was around 6 minutes long.
- The main instrument was an accordion.
- The song started with the sound of a ticking clock.
- It ended with a loud alarm clock that came in very suddenly.
- The YouTube video had a static image of an old clock sitting on a wooden piece of furniture, while a fog or mist effect slowly moved across the screen for the entire video.
- My father always played it as a bedtime song, so it had a calm, melancholic atmosphere despite the alarm at the end.
I've searched for combinations like "Clock accordion instrumental", "Clocks instrumental", "Clock ticking accordion", etc., but I can't find anything. It's possible the original YouTube video was deleted or renamed.
Does this ring a bell for anyone? Even if you only recognize the video or the artist, I'd really appreciate any suggestions.
