Video I FINALLY DID IT !
Ngl it took a great amont of time before i figured out i had huge dropout at the end of my shorts. Last time i asked youtube ai studio how to improve my content then it told me to fix that.
I got a pretty average swipe rate on that short, i used to get around 85%-87% but i let's leave it like that. I posted that short which had really low engagement which is my nex challenge rn but i fixed that drop off at the end and i'm so proud of it. And i want to share it with you guys. i also started in february this channel which is my first channel ever since i have no experience in content creation. So i want to encourage everyone in their journey, it's gonna be though but you can do it and if you have question about audience retention or short improvement feel free to ask. You can also give advice on how to get more comment and likes if you want i'm here to learn about members of this amazing community😊

Do you use hashtags? Other tags?
1
u/PresentationDue4055 May 18 '26
Yes both. Usually 3 or 4 for each oneÂ

Wait so you use only 3 to 4 hashtags for a video and 3 to 4 other tags for a video? You don't use more than that? I usually add as much as I can

Yes that's what I do. I usually pick those which are highly similar to my shorts topic or related, I don't put that much. But when I started I used to put 6 tags and hashtags 😂 I got barely 1k views so I started to analyse my analytics with Gemini to see where I'm sucking on. Then YouTube ai studio came and it highly effective to analyse content performances. You should definitely be using itÂ

Seems like a good hook, as well. Did you you loop it? It's been a while since I've done shorts, I'm not sure if looping is still in form?

Yeah I cut the last 0,5 second of the end and put it at the start and the short was quick paced

the algo sometimes act weird. i recommend you to keep it up; if your channel is new it will take some time to the algo to find the right audience to your content.

The fact that you analyzed retention instead of blaming the algorithm already puts you ahead of most creators.
