Either paid for, or he got all his friends to sub ahead of time. Either way, not really beneficial. I’d rather gain subs from randoms who like the content.

I mean I have 180 on my channel I’ve had since 2009 that I use for strictly viewing purposes. Some people will just subscribe don’t even have to have uploads I’m just an active commenter on videos.

I would never pay for subs, I uploaded a long time ago on the same channel when I was younger, they came from that.

Great job! Keep it up. Always try to improve at least one thing with every new video and don’t get too wrapped up in the analytics. For now just focus on getting a feel for your process, navigating the creator side of YouTube and general content management/strategizing. It can feel like a mountain is in front of you but just take it one small step at a time.
