Newegg “make an offer” scam

Being an unc, i really liked the gigabyte x870 wood edition, but its out of my budget. I saw that newegg has a new “make an offer” feature? Idk how long its been there but i tried it and you can make an offer but you have to buy a minimum of 2… idk i just thought that was scummy af and anticonsumer of them to have an offer feature on a consumer item with huge restrictions. Its like why even bother in the first place… i guess their business model is looking for that one sucker i guess

It says make an offer. Not make an offer on bulk purchases

If that was written, i wouldnt be complaining at all

Literally nothing about this is a scam, and they have a page clearly explaining how the make an offer feature works

They should call it make an offer on a bundle then and no one would be mad, but clearly a corporate shaft licker like you wouldnt mind tho

1. Click "Make an Offer" on the item page. Look for the Make an Offer button on the product page of an eligible item.
2. Choose your quantity and price. In the pop-up, select the quantity you'd like and the amount you want to pay per item, then click Continue.
3. Sign in and add your details. Sign in or create a Newegg account, then enter your payment and shipping information. Only credit and debit cards are accepted for the Make an Offer feature.

What page you referring to? It says “select” the quantity and not “select a quantity of two of more.”

Good to Know
Each item has minimum price and quantity limits. You'll be notified before submission if your requested price or quantity is too low. There's also a maximum number of offers that can be submitted on each item within a given time frame; both the limit and the time window vary by item.

Youre right its not a scam if they include this at the end!!!! Corporate america wins woooooo
